Yonkers Public Corruption Case Update

A Federal Judge has denied the prosecutors request in the Sandy Annabi public corruption case for a gag order.  Prosecutors have claimed that the defense team's use of the media may prejudice their case.

Ms. Annabi is accused of selling her vote on the Yonkers Ridge Hill development project.  From the start, the project was mired in controversy.  The former Yonkers GOP chair, Jehy Jereis, claims that Ms. Annabli conspired to sell her vote.

The defense team called the prosecutor's request ridiculous and applauded the judges decision.
