Yonkers Legislator Files for Bankrupcy

Westchester County Legislator Virginia Perez, who represents parts of Yonkers has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection.  Ms. Perez is 32 years old and recently defeated long time incumbent Jose Alvarado.  According to media sources, Ms. Perez has over $400,000.00 in liabilities and a fraction of assets.
