William Tilghman was sentenced to a three year jail sentence for causing a fatality in New Jersey while driving with a suspended license.  Superior Court Judge James M. Blaney's expressed his outrage during the sentencing stating that this tragedy could have been avoided if Mr. Tilghman obeyed the law and didn't operate a motor vehicle.

Each year, hundreds of motorist around the country operate a motor vehicle while their privilege to drive is suspended.
