The Dobbs Ferry Court is located in heart of downtown Dobbs Ferry at 112 Main Street.  The court can be approached from the front or rear of the building.  However, the rear entrance next to the parking lot is considered the most convenient.

Dobbs Ferry is a Village Court and has limited jurisdiction over criminal cases.  While some felony proceedings can be held in this court, for the most part, they are adjudicated in County Court.

When a case is resolved in Dobbs Ferry, a fine is usually imposed.  Fines are expected to be paid at the time the case is resolved.  The court accepts cash, money orders, bank checks, and credit cards.

AUO – VTL 511

Driving with a Suspended License is a crime in New York.  That means a conviction to the charge will result in a permanent criminal record and the accused can be facing a term of incarceration.

For the average driver, this charge stems from the act of forgetting to pay for a ticket.  For others it can stem from the failure to pay child support or taxes.  Whatever the cause, don’t let this charge result in life long consequences that can adversely affect your ability to get into the school of your choice or to find the job of your dreams.  Give our lawyers a call today at 914-723-7900
