FAQs

I just received a non-criminal traffic ticket and don't know what to do?

The worst thing you can do is ignore your ticket.  It is recommended that you read your ticket thoroughly, follow the instructions and call our law firm to learn how we can help you.

Am I required to hire an attorney or can the court assign me an attorney?

You are not required to hire an attorney for a routine traffic ticket.  However, there are many benefits this law firm can provide you.  We have been recognized as some of the finest attorneys in New York and have consistently saved our clients points on their license and money on fines and penalties.

The ticket does not indicate how many points I am facing and how much the fine will be. How do I find this out?

If you are convicted of a traffic ticket, the judge will assess a fine.  The maximum and minimum fine amount is controlled by statute.  The judge will issue a fine based upon the specific facts and circumstances concerning your case.  The points assessed against your license will vary depending on the charge.  Points start at 2 points and can be as high as 11 points.
