ABOUT THE COURT
Brutus Town Court is a court of local jurisdiction. This means it has the power to
adjudicate traffic tickets such as speeding, cell phone violations, and stop
sign violations. It also has the
power to adjudicate lower level civil matters such as landlord tenant cases and

over misdemeanor criminal cases as well as local code violations.
